This is a limited edition item released in the Japan market,as part of the New Year's collection.
 
It consists of a porcelain mug base and a glass snow globe lid, which can be used separately or stacked. 
The snow globe portion depicts Mount Fuji, the first sunrise of the year, and a mini Starbucks paper cup inside. 
The mug base is red and features illustrations of traditional Japanese good luck symbols.
